TIP 46: Don’t Overdue the Sugar

Indulging in too many sweet treats like spiked eggnog or sugary cookies can disrupt your body's natural hormone responses, blood sugar, and insulin levels, as well as affect your brain's neurotransmitters. Coupled with sleep deprivation from caffeine and alcohol, and a busy schedule, this can lead to increased anxiety. Focus on consuming more nutritious foods.

🏈 Eagles

Even without playing in Week 15, the Philadelphia Eagles secured a playoff spot, thanks to favorable outcomes from other NFL games. The wins by the 49ers and Lions, combined with losses by the Packers and Falcons, ensured the Eagles' entry into the playoffs.

This marks the third consecutive playoff appearance for the Eagles under the leadership of Head Coach Nick Sirianni and with Jalen Hurts as the starting quarterback, highlighting their successful partnership.

The Eagles, currently at a 10-3 record, aim to break their two-game losing streak in their upcoming Monday night game against the Seattle Seahawks, tonight.

🏒 Flyers

Samuel Ersson made an impressive 33 saves, helping the Philadelphia Flyers to secure a 1-0 victory over the Detroit Red Wings at Wells Fargo Center on Saturday. This win contributes to the Flyers' current eight-game point streak, with a record of 6-0-2, marking their longest streak since February-March 2020.

🏀 Sixers

A proposed plan to build a new arena for the 76ers in Center City is causing significant debate among community members. A meeting organized by POWER Interfaith, attended by hundreds including Council member Mark Squilla, was held to discuss the development proposal.

Residents of the first district, where the arena is proposed to be built, have expressed their discontent with the project. The community is concerned about the impact of the arena on their lives, emphasizing that while the Sixers might be able to relocate, the local residents cannot.
