Lower Southampton Police on the Hunt for Suspect in Child Harassment Case

The Lower Southampton Police Department is actively seeking the public's assistance in locating Lawrence W. Kramer, a 65-year-old man from Bensalem, who is wanted on charges of corruption of minors and harassment. The arrest warrant was issued following an investigation into a report received on November 10, where Kramer is accused of sending inappropriate messages to a 13-year-old girl through Facebook Messenger.

Investigators, after obtaining and reviewing copies of the messages, determined that Kramer solicited nude photos and sexual acts from the minor. While Kramer initially cooperated with the detectives, he has since evaded surrendering himself after being notified of the arrest warrant issued on November 29.

The Lower Southampton Police Department urges anyone with information about Kramer's whereabouts to contact them at 215-357-1234. Tips can also be provided via the CrimeWatch platform. The police are relying on community support to help locate Kramer and proceed with the legal process.

Drive Sober This New Year: PA State Police's DUI Enforcement Plan

The Pennsylvania State Police are intensifying their DUI enforcement efforts during the New Year’s weekend. This initiative is part of their commitment to ensuring public safety and reducing the incidence of dangerous driving behaviors.

The enforcement period is scheduled to start at 12:01 a.m. on Saturday and will run through 11:59 p.m. on Monday, January 1, 2024. The focus will be on aggressive driving, including offenses such as DUI, speeding, seat belt violations, child seat belt infractions, and distracted driving. This includes strict enforcement against texting while driving, careless and reckless driving, and other traffic offenses.

A significant part of this enforcement will involve combating driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. This will be conducted through the Selective Traffic Enforcement Against Drunk Drivers (S.T.E.A.D.D.) and the Drug Recognition Expert (D.R.E.) programs. Additionally, troopers from the Pennsylvania Aggressive Driving Enforcement Education Program (P.A.D.E.E.P) will also participate in the initiative. Remember:

  • Always drive sober and avoid any alcoholic beverages if you are driving.

  • Plan ahead by designating a sober driver before consuming alcohol.

  • Utilize taxi services or rideshares if you do not have a sober driver.

  • Take the role of a designated driver seriously and refrain from drinking.

  • Report drunk drivers to the police.

  • Prevent friends from driving under the influence by taking their keys and arranging a safe way home for them.

🏈 Eagles

The Philadelphia Eagles, amidst offensive struggles and high expectations for quarterback Jalen Hurts, are focusing on Arizona Cardinals' safety Budda Baker as a major threat in their upcoming Week 17 game. Eagles' offensive coordinator Brian Johnson highlighted Baker's ball-hawking abilities and his consistent impact on games, acknowledging the challenges he could pose to their efforts to improve their offense. Baker's skill set and the Cardinals' defensive strategies are key concerns for the Eagles as they strive to enhance their performance.
