2023 Holiday Return Policies

It's important to understand each store's return policy, as many retailers offer extended return periods with some limitations. While stores often extend their return windows for holiday purchases, some have shortened these for 2023 and are exploring different approaches to online returns, including letting customers keep unwanted items.

The process varies across stores, but typically involves returning items to the service counter or arranging returns for online purchases. It's important to check the specific return policy for each retailer, as policies can differ for third-party sellers on platforms like Amazon and Walmart. Key points to note include the return period, methods, costs involved, and if the item is eligible for return. Remember, electronics and mobile phones often have shorter return windows. Always try to keep receipts for easier returns and be aware that some items, like used or personalized products, may not be returnable.

Officer Jamie Samuels Celebrated for Quick Action in Huntingdon Valley Wawa Theft

Officer Jamie Samuels of the Lower Moreland Police Department has been honored as "Officer of the Month" for her commendable actions leading to the arrest of a man who committed a robbery at a Wawa in Huntingdon Valley earlier in December.

The suspect, involved in the theft of $1,733.28 worth of cigarettes from the store, was also found to have several active warrants in other jurisdictions. Officer Samuels' keen observation and quick response played a crucial role in identifying and apprehending the suspect, preventing further potential thefts at the local store.

TODAY is… National Candy Cane Day, offering an extra reason to enjoy these iconic sugary treats during the holiday season. Originating in 17th-century Germany, candy canes were initially shaped to resemble shepherds' crooks. This confection made its way to the United States in the mid-19th century and has since become a ubiquitous symbol of holiday cheer, commonly found adorning Christmas trees and festive decorations.

🏈 Eagles

At Lincoln Financial Field, Philadelphia Eagles fans were vocal about their desire for the team to focus on their ground game. Their enthusiasm reached a peak when Kenneth Gainwell broke free for a 22-yard run, the longest of the night by an Eagles running back. This performance was a highlight in a season of ups and downs for the Eagles' running backs.

Shortly after Gainwell's impressive run, D'Andre Swift scored on a 5-yard rush, much to the delight of the home crowd. This touchdown provided the Eagles with the necessary buffer to secure a 33-25 victory over the New York Giants in a contest that was unexpectedly close. The game concluded with Kelle Ringo intercepting Tyrod Taylor's pass in the end zone as time expired, ensuring the Eagles' win.
